We love hearing from our happy customers!
Holy cow! This place is the bomb. One of my favorite Japanese restaurants I've ever visited. Clean, good food, good service. Steven was our waiter and he was on top of everything. Would recommend!
I've lived in many cities with great sushi, but this is hands down the best I've had. I recommend the "Trust Me" dish, served japanese style.
Forget Nama and get your sushi here. This place has a great atmosphere, excellent sushi chefs, amazing specials and even better food. The salmon salad is the best I've had as is the eel roll and the udon. There is something on the menu for everyone, even if you aren't a sushi lover. Mondays and Tuesdays are busy but a great time to go for great deals and happy hour. A++
Great spot for Japanese/Sushi. Service was spot on, food was fresh and delicious, and atmosphere was good. The yakiniku was awesome! Try the tempura cheesecake for dessert if you're looking for something a little different!
This is our favorite restaurant in Knoxville. The recent weather has allowed us to enjoy several of our meals outside on the patio. The food is always delicious and the service is great.
Went on Monday night for half off select tuna rolls. The place was packed and we had a short wait. Our server gave great service, especially for a very busy night. Food came out quickly and was really good. I'll definitely go there again!
This is a great sushi restaurant!! Definitely get the "Trust Me" plate. Let the chefs use their creative skills to make a roll you never seen before.
Absolutely love this place!! I've been here several times now and the food is always great! I highly recommend the Katsu Bowl with pork or the Tonkatsu Ramen. The Chicken Karage appetizer is great as well as the sushi! Now that I've been a few times, I have a hard time deciding what to order.
Authentic Japanese Food. I had the Goyza dumplings, exceptional, for my appetizer. They were served sizzling hot and very favorable. Nigiri tuna and salmon were my choices. They were very fresh and had the flavor of what you should expect from good sushi. Shrimp fried rice is how I finished my meal. They serve it with Yum Yum sauce. I found their Yum Yum sauce pretty good, although I prefer hot Chile paste. I finish the rice the way I like it, SPICY. It was a good experience.
My absolute favorite Japanese Restaurant, when I’m missing real authentic Japanese food. Japanese curry is hard to find and this is the closest I’ve found to Coco Ichibanya, and the Udon is so good too! They have all my favorite foods from living in Okinawa, the only thing that would make it better would be some Taco Rice! Then I could have all my Japanese cuisine cravings met!
Best ramen and sushi in town! The inside is so cute and welcoming. They are quick to serve you and food came out fast as well. Wonderful experience, this place deserves more hype.
I was recently visiting Knoxville, and a friend recommended Anaba to try out for some good Ramen, so I swung in on my way to the airport to give it a try.
I ordered their Tonkotsu Ramen, and it was incredible! The pork was delicious, and the broth was some of the best pork broth I've ever had!
The staff were all super friendly as well and the atmosphere of the restaurant was really nice as well. I wish I had more time to try more food, but Anaba is definitely on my list of places to eat again when I come back to Knoxville.
This place is a hidden gem and one of our favorite sushi restaurants.
I'm from the west coast and when I moved to Tennessee, I didn't think I would find good sushi here. Then I went to Anaba and they had fantastic sushi. The service was great too! If you are looking for good sushi, Anaba is the way to go.
Wonderful experience all around! The entire staff is very gracious. Our server is a rock star! Wonderful, fresh food with amazing options!
This was my first time here. The vibe for dinner is ideal for a date night. They were busy! So I sat at the bar.
I had the gyoza for an appetizer. It was probably the best gyoza I've had. It's served on a hot skillet. The other pieces continued to get a nice char while I devoured the others.
I ordered the Katsu Curry Chicken. The meal came with a salad. Their house dressing is delicious! This was my first time trying my entree. I think I found my new favorite Japanese dish. The chicken was perfectly fried. The curry was amazing. Not spicy, but well seasoned with a slight kick. They do not skimp on the sauce.
Customer service was attentive and fast.
I recommend this place and the meal. You will not be disappointed.
My go to for sushi in Knoxville, lot of options and you can make your own platter of nigiri or sashimi. Also have tempura options.
This is hands down the best sushi in Knoxville. We absolutely love this place. They have great saki, great beer, awesome food and the staff is fantastic. Absolutely 5 stars!
Very good neighborhood sushi place. Service is always very good and the food is good.
Really good variety of sushi rolls. Great food and service. Thanks!
